Why do I feel stuck?

Have you ever felt stuck or stagnate? Do you feel like that right now? Like the world is moving around you but you're going no where?
You will be relieved to know it's normal to get like that from time to time. We all get very comfortable with what we are doing or where we're at. Not because we like it but because it's what we know and we're afraid to change it because that would require work or new things and a lot of us HATE new things or situations.
Think about a pond on a hot summer day. When there's no movement in the pond and the hot summer sun has been beating down on it for weeks on end how does it look? Usually green, scum filled, smelly, and it almost looks thick like oil. It becomes stagnate right? What would need to happen to that pond to remedy it from it's stagnate state? Movement right? Fresh water, rain, something moving around in it. Well we are no different. When we have sat too long in one place and have become comfortable in our situation we can become stagnate. We find ourselves not wanting to strive for anything. Not wanting to get up or move to change things. (sometimes even our clothes)
That's not how we are called to live. We are called to be moving, flourishing, growing, building and living. It's one thing to have moments of being stagnate, we are all guilty of that at times but not a lifetime of being stagnate. So if you're in that place right now it's time you get up, change your clothes, brush your hair and start making some changes toward new goals. Start growing new ideas, seeking out wisdom to build your new future. NOW is the time to start living the next phase of your life no matter what age you are. I don't remember reading anywhere that God said that because you are older you should not keep dreaming or growing or striving for greatness. DON'T EVER LET ANYONE PUT LIMITATIONS ON YOU!
I pray that this reaches your heart & ignites a fire back in your soul to start something new & that it helps you to see that you can LIVE no matter how stagnate you've become.
Many blessings~
