embedded in my heart......

I hate using the word "BEST" when referring to my friends. Because it insinuates that one is more valuable then the others, which is SO NOT TRUE. I have been very blessed in my life to have some great people enter into it along the way. Some stayed for a short time and others have been around for a long time. But there is a VERY select few that have been embedded.

People come and go from our lives but this select few will be embedded in your heart forever. That means no matter how long or how far they go from you they will never depart from your heart. They were always just meant to be a part of your life's journey along the way. And when they are away your heart has a void and it wonders and thinks about them often. But when they return that void is filled again. This embedding that God has placed in your heart is a connection that keeps you close even when the distance and time are far and long.

You'll know these few that are embedded in your heart by your ability to pick up right where you left off as if they never left. Your bond is so strong that it can withstand storms. These people are very important to your soul and they will always have a place in your heart even when they leave this earth.

Cherish all of your friends that God brings thru your journey but pay extra close attention to those that are embedded as they will be with you all of your life even if their not around for a while.
